Submit Documents to Upgrade to Silver Account

With only a Classic Account, your transfer limit is 2,500 EUR and you cannot withdraw to your bank account. Complete the verification process to upgrade to a Silver Account. As of August 6, 2018, the use of ecoCard / ecoVirtualCard outside the European Economic Area (EEA) has been completely discontinued.

In the past, Japanese users could conveniently withdraw funds from their ecoPayz accounts directly at ATMs using the ecoCard. However, this service is no longer available in Japan. Currently, ecoPayz Mastercards are only issued in the UK and EEA regions. First, install the Google Authenticator app on your smartphone. Android version / iOS version

Next, scan the QR code displayed on the ecoPayz two-factor authentication setup screen using the Google Authenticator app. This will generate a 6-digit authentication code for ecoPayz inside the app. Each time you log in to ecoPayz, open the app and enter the code shown. The code can only be used once, so you’ll need a new one each time you log in.

ecoPayz Account Levels

After creating your ecoPayz account, you’ll need to upgrade your “account level.” Without doing so, you won’t be able to withdraw funds from your ecoPayz wallet.

There Are Five ecoPayz Account Levels

ecoPayz has five account levels based on usage. As your level increases, you gain higher limits and lower fees.

When you first open an ecoPayz account, it starts at the Classic level. While you can deposit at this level, withdrawals are not allowed. The Classic level also has a total transaction limit (including deposits and withdrawals) of 2,500 EUR. Therefore, it’s essential to upgrade to the next level, Silver, as soon as possible.
